South East European Forum on Orthopaedics and Traumatology (SEEFORT 2015)

As an exhibitor and sponsor, Instrumentaria participated in the Southeast European Forum on Orthopaedics and Traumatology where it presented the newest components of cementless total hip arthroplasty. As part of the official program, on the subject of paediatric orthopaedics, Dr. Tomislav Čengić presented the case of treating a pelvic tumour by implanting a 3D custom implant, which was developed in cooperation with Instrumentaria. Apart from the interesting presentations at the Forum, visitors also had the opportunity to see our new products. Forum participants expressed great interest in new acetabular component in combination with highly cross-linked polyethylene liners. On the sidelines of the Forum, employees of the research and development department had a meeting with representatives from CeramTec concerning the final activities before launching Biolox Delta ceramic femoral heads as part of Instrumentaria cementless hip replacement system.
